Before joining Mexfund he was the Commercial Head of Medica Movil, from 2005 to 2008, a EMS company owned by GNP Seguros.


After finishing his Master in Finances at the Ecole Supérieure de Commerce de Paris (ESCP-EAP) he worked for Systeia Capital Management a hedge fund company based in Paris and owned by Credit Agricole.


As a member of the Sale Desk his task was to promote, a full range of products which are uncorrelated in relation to conventional financial assets and cover most of the major alternative management strategies, among Spanish institutional investors, funds of funds, distributors and private management banks.


Prior to his stay in France, he worked as an Equity Trader at Banorte Casa de Bolsa from 2000 to 2003.


Casa de Bolsa Banorte belongs to Grupo Financiero Banorte one of Mexico's leading bank groups, providing banking, lending, investment, and money exchange services. Eleazar's main job was to promote and sale Mexican Equity among US and European banks and funds.


From 1999 to 2000, he did his internship in Citibank Mexico at the FX and Derivatives Back Office. Citibank Mexico was a branch of Citgroup one of the largest financial services firms with branches in more than 100 countries. In 2001, Citibank bought Banamex, Mexico's biggest Financial Group.


He obtained a BA degree in Economics at the Universidad Iberoamericana in 1998, and in 1994 he got a French Scientific and Technical Baccalaureate Certificate at the Liceo Franco Mexicano.
